Project Idea: Modular Self-Supporting InfoPoint for Tourists in Florence

The goal of this project is to create a self-supporting InfoPoint system designed to help tourists easily discover places in Florence while providing convenient seating and charging stations. This enhances the travel experience by offering both information and comfort in one spot.

The design is modular and consists of two key components:

• Main Module: Equipped with a touchscreen monitor that provides interactive maps, information, and recommendations about Florence’s attractions.

• Bench Module: Includes comfortable seating combined with charging points for mobile devices, allowing tourists to rest and recharge simultaneously.

Multiple modules can be installed together in the same location, creating flexible and scalable InfoPoints tailored to different urban spaces and visitor needs.
